Medica Kosova contributing into discussions about the Secretary General's Guidance on Reparations for War-Related Sexual Violence

UN Women in cooperation with OHCHR and IOM organized a regional workshop and launch of the UN Guidance Note on reparations for conflict-related sexual violence during 9-10 June in Sarajevo, BiH.

Participants from South East Europe and Central Asia shared their best practices for the design and delivery of reparations from their own national contexts and discussed opportunities and challenges for implementation of the Secretary General's Guidance. 

Apart from presenting key principles and recommendations of the guidance and highlighting best practices on reparations for conflict-related sexual violence, the workshop aimed also at further improving the responses to address the needs of survivors.
